Media Literacy: A little bit of haptics education

Before anyone can create with a form of media, they must first understand it. If I am going to consider how to use haptics in educational practice I need to know how it works at least at a basic level. I am not an expert on haptics. I did find it helpful to understand a little bit about what a haptic “interface” was. A typical interface is a keyboard and a mouse. Haptic interfaces vary. Some are wearable. Some can be connected to portable devices. Some look like gloves. I thought I would break down a few of the types of interfaces used in haptics and specifically how they have been used.
